Updated Video from Tuesday’s Lesson!

On Tuesdays I normally have a jumping lesson. I pulled up to the barn and I saw COCO!!! I hope he is excited to jump today- I don’t want a LAZY pony!

I walked in to the barn, caught up with Cindy, and then I went to get Coco from turn out. He started off a bit sad to leave his friends who remained in turn out, but he walked back to the barn with me anyway. He was dusty and dirty with chunks of mud on him, and I spent a good half an hour grooming him. And finally, he was soooooo clean! (Thank you Cowboy Magic and ShowSheen!!)

Time for his saddle, and then his bridle, and time for my boots and helmet. We headed to the upper ring, which had time to dry after the all rain. We started the lesson with walking round the ring 2 laps each way to warm him up and get his legs ready. Then we trot 2 laps each way to pick up the pace and get his legs moving faster. Then we canter 3 laps each way, and we’re ready to jump!

Cindy arranged lots of jumps for Coco and me to build a course. Some jumps are closer together, some are meant for a roll back and others as a tight turn. IT WAS SO GOOD- we nailed it! We jumped different combinations and directions and had a fantastic lesson! I took Coco on a walk around the trails to cool off and then back to the barn to begin untacking him. Then, my lucky boy returned to turn out with his friends once again. We had a great day, I hope you did, too! ❤️🤎🐴👋⭐️.
