Saturday barn day!

As you know, Saturday barn days are…SO FUN! And here’s another one!

Saturday mornings are really full, starting off with Kung Fu, followed by my favorite ice cream shop, and I didn’t get to the barn until 2:00 P.M. My friends were already there, and I was practically running out of the car to say hello to everyone!

The sun was out all day Saturday and it wasn’t cold, and it wasn’t raining! First, I went to go get Coco from turn out and of course he was in the one with all the mud and grass. 😪😂 But he was so cute! Happily eating all of the grass, and definitely happy to see me. I walked him from turn out and brought him into the barn, and then to the cross ties. I started brushing him all over to make him nice and clean for our JUMPING LESSON!

I carried my saddle from the tack room, along with my saddle pad and my half pad (*there are SO many different kinds of English saddle pads! Future post!). I put the saddle pad on him, then half pad and then the saddle, and he was looking SO cute! Almost ready to ride. I put my boots and helmet on and then got Coco’s bridle on and NOW we are BOTH ready to go!

The best part of my lesson today was the very last course we did, which was mildly twisty, but even more fun on a fresh pony! Instead of jumping two fences in a line, and then using the whole ring to approach the next fence, a twisty course means we just land and turn and jump again!

Bye! I hope you enjoyed this post. ❤️
