Pony Party!

It’s finally Sunday and Coco‘s party is today and I am so excited!

I’ve been planning my blue outfits for weeks, well at least since the last post, and so I’m super excited to wear it today but then… I look at the weather and I see it is so cold at the barn. Oh well. 😢 I guess I’m going to get a new outfit ready. I got up early-ish to start making decorations and to make Coco’s cupcakes. I had seven apples for all seven horses, and I dug out half the inside of the apple so I could put in shredded carrots mixed with honey, oats, and crushed pretzels. The perfect horse cupcake! By the time I was done with that it was time to grab Coco’s gifts and head to the barn!!!

We had to make a quick stop to pick up cupcakes for the humans because they can’t go hungry at a party! I even got a free cupcake at the place that made them. They’re so nice.🧁

We got to the barn and no one‘s there! Ohhhhh nooooooo! But it was earlier than I thought, and soon my friends started to arrive. Hello my friends! Time to bring The Birthday Pony in from turn out where he was relaxing. I think he was kind of upset to come in because he got startled! Well, I was wearing a party hat so that’s probably why.

Now it’s time for the birthday boy to get his cupcake! 🧁 (Little did I know Coco would be getting 4 pony cupcakes today!) He was so eager to eat his cupcake that we could hardly take pictures!! 😆

Happy Birthday Pony!!

I put his new birthday saddle pad on omggggggg he is unreal, he looks so cute! Pics for next time.

I am very excited to have a lesson today! I lunged him before we rode because after 4 days off I knew he’d be really fresh! I just thought he would have a couple little bucks but NO! He had so much energy and speed I thought I would never be able to stop him! But he eventually calmed down and we could get back to the lesson. We headed to the other ring to start trotting both ways and he was feeling so good. We cantered and then Cindy came to set up cross rails and verticals so I can jump!! Yayayayyay!!

I did my first course and it was pretty good. I had a couple mistakes that I could fix in the next course. I followed that up with a super twisty course which felt great! Then I quickly got on Nikko (jumper pony!) and we did a course together. He was very, very, very good. Which means a lot for Nikko. Lessons are over; time for a trail ride with my friend.

Coco was so excited to go back into his stall because he had FOOD!! And for a pony, that is the best thing in the entire world. So now I have MORE time to hang out with friends and eat lots more cupcakes!!! 🧁

I am so happy Coco had a good birthday. 🎉

Bye! ✌🏻 Have a good day or night wherever you are ♥️
