Schooling Day! ✨

Today begins the Woodside Summer Classic Week 1 show!

Today is schooling day, which is on Wednesday and not Thursday because I am showing Thursday-Friday-Saturday and Sunday this week.

I got there at around 2:00 today, and was on Cleo by 2:20. Ideally, you “school” in the ring you will be competing in so that you and your horse have a chance to get comfortable in that ring before you compete. Unfortunately, the rings that I will be showing in were not open until 6:00pm, so I just schooled in the warmup ring.

I started trotting and Cleo felt amazing. Then I cantered and then it was time to jump!!!

At first I did a trot jump and we worked our way up.
